Ascénto invests in Wisconsin students as they pursue higher education and prepare for their futures. Through our scholarship opportunities, we help reduce financial barriers while connecting students to a community of professionals, partners, and leaders across Wisconsin.

SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Ascénto offers two scholarship opportunities for students pursuing their education in Wisconsin.

We award two types of scholarships:

• Ascénto Scholarship: Open to students pursuing a 2-year, undergraduate, or graduate degree in any major or training program at a Wisconsin college or university.
• Ascénto Law Scholarship: Awarded in partnership with the Wisconsin Hispanic Lawyers Association (WHLA) to students enrolled at Marquette University Law School or the University of Wisconsin Law School. One student per school is awarded.

Scholarship recipients are recognized at our annual Scholarship Reception, where they have opportunities to connect with sponsors, higher education partners, and members of the Ascénto network.

ELIGIBILITY

Who can apply:

Students pursuing a 2-year, undergraduate, or graduate degree at a Wisconsin college or university. Preference is given to students who have demonstrated a commitment to supporting the Latino community.

Undergraduate / 2-Year Students

• Enrolled in an associate degree or technical diploma program, or pursuing a bachelor's degree
• Completed at least 12 credits
• GPA of 3.0 or higher (4.0 scale)
• In good academic standing

Graduate / Advanced Degree Students

• Pursuing an advanced degree (MBA, MA/MS, Ph.D., or equivalent) at an accredited Wisconsin college or university
• GPA of 3.0 or higher (4.0 scale)
• In good academic standing

The Ascénto Law Scholarship, offered in partnership with the Wisconsin Hispanic Lawyers Association (WHLA), invests in Latino students pursuing careers in law.

Each year, two scholarships are awarded:

• One student at Marquette University Law School
• One student at the University of Wisconsin Law School
